Default Derale 16925 fan question

I was looking at the instruction sheet. It shows the kit is suppose to have rubber isolators which neither of mine had. I called Derale and talked to Mike, he 'thinks' they aren't suppose to come with them and/or its an old instruction sheet.... Even though it clearly shows on my instruction sheet for this particular kit and on the website.

http://derale.com/images/stories/vir...pdfs/16925.pdf

"Take the four Rubber Isolators and four Mounting Rods supplied. Using
one Mounting Rod at a time, install the Mounting Rod through the
Electric Fan, then through the Rubber Isolator and finally through the
Radiator Core."
For the people who brought this kit, did yours include them? If not did you use anything instead or just mount it without using the isolators?

Just use a 1" piece of foam or some type of cushion material, it just prevents the plastic retainer from digging into the radiator too hard when tightening them..

no you need the rubber isolators... you paid for the entire kit,, they should send them to you for free... if you install with out the nipple in the center of the fan will rub radiator... How are you going to wire them in???

Mine came with them. A thin piece of rubber would work just fine as well.

I just checked mine and neither of them came with the rubber isolators even though the instructions show them as included parts. I emailed derale to see if they'll send some.
