Default Who Misses Rob Raymer's Posts???

Title says it all. I talked to him on the phone it was interesting to get his side of the story of why he got banned off of this forum. I won't say anything else here because I don't have admin powers.

I was just curious how many people miss his work and Turbo Development for the LS1. It was sure nice seeing that Fbody blow the doors off that Viper....oh well. It was also nice seeing all the R&D being shared. I don't see too much of that on here anymore.

its sad that he got banned especially after all of the BS that took place that never should have. I'm currently installing his system on a 408 mtor and gained lots of useful info from all of his posts on here.

I hope he posts up with some more good tech info. What he was sharing helped us DIY'ers have a starting point with FI...i.e.. what hurdles might lay ahead of us when pushing big boost, fueling and understanding alcohol injection.

i certainly dont miss having to defend myself, my engine builder, or my tuning capability.. took his kit off and gained 100rwhp with less timing and the same a/f ratio and 2psi less boost. FACT

Well, not trying to say anything negative..
But I think everyone would be happier if he spent his time at the other LS1 forum.
Seems more relaxed in here already.

MM, your misleading post is EXACTLY why Rob left. Did the two systems use the same turbo? NO. Did the two systems use the same computer controls? NO. Did a professional install/tune both systems? NO. Only the TT Race system was professionally installed.

And we wonder why Rob left......geeeeez.

Im locking this casue its already getting out of hand

he wasnt banned like PSJ said, he can come back anytime he wants if he wants to share with us, it was his choice

lets just keep this drama free, and focus about devolopment of the ls1 without fighting.
