Default Changed boost plans!

Ok we've decided to stay with the twin 76 mm turbos but now using Forcded Inductions.

Midwest Chassis is removing weight from the car and a few other tricks. We can run at 3000 lbs this year. We were 3180 last year.

A few new BAD *** carbon fiber parts form a friend, TUFF. Crazy nice stuff!!!! Front and rear bumper cover. Front spoiler and a wing. Midwest Chassis fitting them to the car.

Speed Inc is building new headers and exhaust for different turbo location, forward facing . Aslo for the least amout of restriction.

Bryan at LME in finishing up the refresh on the motor. We found the front of the crank was damaged from the accident the year before. The balancer was ruined and wobbling on the crank. They welded it up and cut it for a proper fit for the balancer.

Also installing new - larger blow off valves and waste gates.

We are putting new pistons and alum rods in the motor this year. Jim at Speed Inc in specing a new cam for more rpm and hp.

Also upgrading the coils to high output and a belt driven fuel pump/

We will start posting pics soon. 6's or bust this year!!!

Sounds like a plan! What is the weight savings of the bumpers?

Im thinking 20 lbs each. I'll weigh them , HUGE difference!!! Plus all the holes in the front are closed. Head light lids made into front cover . sooooo cool.

Wow! I'd say 20 lbs each would be a huge difference. I'm pretty sure that you're using billet 76's, right? And with all the top notch support that you have on this build, I'm pretty sure you'll be in the 6's.

That's a huge savings I didn't realize that they weighed that much. Plus the weight of the lights if you haven't removed those also.

Need to get some pics up when they get them mounted.

Yes for sure with the pics. The carbon fiber parts will really help with the 200 lbs we need to remove!

Spent a few George Washintons in the off Season haha. Looks like a good plan, and best to luck on your program this year.
