I cant afford the Gucci blankets for my BW S300's... is anyone using EBay or other cheap blankets with good results? Recommend any particular companies?

they just revised the design so they last ALOT longer where it wraps around the downpipe. i had the initial design and they replaced it, FOR FREE, a year later when it went to ****.

The Godspeed Ebay blanket is ok if your not picky. It keeps heat in pretty good but after its has been on there a bit it starts to flake the black coating off.

Ptp here as well. I can put my hand directly on it without getting burned. It holds a lot of heat.

Less than $100, those PTP blankets have really good reviews and seem like a good price. But Im leaning more toward the mentioned Godspeed price range, around $50- $60.

Godspeed is good quality for the money. Do yourself a favor and don't spend $100 on a blanket

I just installed this made in the USA unit and the quality seems real good. Time will tell though.

Thermal Zero T4 Turbo Blanket Black Exhaust Heat Shield 2300 Degrees Made in USA | eBay
I have this in the T6 version. Quality is great. Can rest my hand on it while the motor is running and hot and it barely feels warm...

I have the Thermal Zero blanket in T6 flavor as well. It's HUGE, but works well.

I use the DEI thermal wrap from Summit. They offer it in 1" or 2" width, and different lengths.
There's probably much cheaper stuff on Ebay, but I haven't looked.

I was using an Ebay blanket other than the Thermal Zero that everyone's talking about. I also remember a thread similar to this with lots of feedback on it. It's advertised for a T4 housing but it's HUGE and the metal hooks are used to hold in on are very cheaply fastened to the material. This particular blanket is more suited for a T6 housing.
FWIW, do some research on which brand/company Ebay blanket you purchase first.
It seems like the one posted above are of much better quality.
