73 nova 4.8 gt45
Put up a photo of the new paint job!
If I were working, I'd love to do a 4.8 in my kids S10. The whole budget deal on all the turbo stuff.
It would smoke his 350 for sure.
Nice work. Very clean.

More recent news though my daughter has to have open heart sergery on Thursday so my wife and I have been preparing for that the best we can. My wife is taking off work for a couple months while she recovers so money will be tighter than I like it to be so all money for the car will be put on hold till spring.

I have the 2-step/boost builder activated with 12v into the EFI which is done through the brake pedal and a toggle switch. This way, when you let off the brake the two functions are turned off and the car takes off.
Thanks for sharing your turbo Nova build. It is refreshing to see such a high quality build on a real life budget! This is almost too weird to be true, but we have very similar backstories on our Novas: When I was 16 my parents bought my ’73 Nova for $750 as a birthday present. I drove it all through high school and for my graduation project I did the body work and restoration. Then she sat for almost 6 years with a dead 307 before I dropped a junkyard 5.3 in it. Crazy!
I wish you the best of luck with your daughter’s surgery and a speedy and complete recovery! My wife and I just had our first child 6 months ago and I can barely fathom going through something like that! We will keep you and your family in our thoughts! Best of luck!
