I know it's still early but I'm glad to have that hurdle behind us so we can move forward and get back to what we call "normal" life. I just wanna say thanks to all the guys here on tech who reach out and pm'd me and offered help with things. It's really nice to know that there's a lot of good people in this crazy world we live in, and on top of that we share the same interest. Once again thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers guys we really do appreciate it.
Thats so nice to hear that she is doing great.

Nothing against Comp BBBUUUUUTTTTT, I'd call Lil John, Tick Performance or Brian Tooley and see where they suggest to put it. They mess with turbo cams all the time. They'll hook you up. Probably end up with one in the mail by the end of the phone conversation, but that's how it goes! LOL! At least if you degree what you have, it won't be something in the back of your mind.

Well I ended up degreeing the cam with the help of a friend and it made a it a little bit better, but at the end of the day the cam was just to big for a 4.8 in a 3600lb car. the rear was making some noise so i rebuilt it and switched from 3.25's to 3.50's and that seem to make a pretty big difference in the way the car ran all together. It din't feel so sluggish. Really the car needs a cam change and Trans brake. that's the only way to make that little motor work in a heavy car like mine.

Most recent news. I took the car to a local mustang meet about a month ago. I was told there was a cocky guy with a turbo 5.0 coyote car that was talking all kinds of stuff about how nobody could beat him from a roll and so on. So after about 30min of heckling the guy he finally agreed to race my old beat up nova. So we Made three runs from 40. I beat him by bus lengths each time and popped a head gasket in the process. So I've decided I'm gonna buy 6.0 and make some changes to the hotside and stuff over the winter. I really wanna have the car ready for ocean city in May.

Winter upgrades will be a cam only 6.0, Trans brake, and a new turbo.
