Don't know why you send the money when the JY 5.3 practically can make 2000+ HP

This is an awesome build David. I always enjoyed seeing your projects come to life...going back to the old EFA/RPM days. I look forward to seeing this one run one day. I'd go back out east and grab some of the old guys to check it out. Good luck brother!

I've been stuck in chassis jail for going on 3 years now. its sucked every drop of motivation from me. I just don't understand why people just don't do what their job is... don't they like to get paid? I do! You gotta do the job to get paid.

I would discount all heavily to be free of the nightmare for an even 50 just to move on with my life.

That's too bad David, sometimes chassis shops are worse than paint shops and engine builders.

Damn man that sucks. Thank god my chassis guy doesnt ask for a penny until he finishes.... then gives you 2 days to pick your sh*t up or you get charged storage :-) . He said it makes customers be more responsible with leaving there stuff there and makes him stay on task.

Man that sucks. I can relate as my motor guy is the same way. I will say this though, my chassis guy Madman, does NOT have this problem. My truck has been in and out of his shop probably 6 times and he has never once not hit the deadline that was quoted the day I dropped it off. He is in a class of his own in that regard.

What would the options be to just go get it and take it somewhere else?

Do it again. Surely there is a shop out there that can do the work you need in an efficient manner.

To Dave's point, if you take it out, and move it, you go to the back of the line at the new shop unless they don't have any other business going on.

And to this, if there is no business your probably don't want your car there! Seems chassis shops are weird. They should meet there dead lines and **** happens we all know, just communicate to the customer.

Take it to Madman. It will get finished on deadline or I'll pay you $100. I want to see this finished.

Madman, if you're reading this, I'll be taking a $100 shop credit if you **** this up. lol
