I'm partial to the 6 speed. It's all I've ever owned or driven in a LSx. They are lots of fun and are strong in stock form, but can be built to be virtually bulletproof.

Autos are for pussies. Get whichever built T56 you'll need based on your power level. Check out some videos on youtube of the fastest 6 speed LSx on the planet. It's a blue 4th gen Camaro. Dude bangs the gears in a 1300 rwhp monster and runs mid 8's. He runs a RPM transmission.

Rockers were 1,700 my combo is a solid roller set up high Rpm

That's high.. I will be spinning to 8200 rpm .on engine dyno at 7200 I was still making Power :-)
