Default mast ls7 heads 285cc

The mast ls7 heads on the site 285cc.. cost is 2800 or so.. is that per head or for both bare??

I'd check with a vendor. Cheaper price and the valve train can be setup to your application. Virginia Speed sells MAST heads.

Very true. A guy on here got a bad set of MAST heads and the turn around time for a new set was months.

All Pro heads would be the ultimate head, but they are pricey.

Those prices are for the bare castings.

i see, seems like the stage 2 takes a lot of lift to really see the cfm. .750 lift to be well past 400.

Motor is also only 434 cubic inches... im not too sure yet.. its a street car, but we will see... 700 hp street car is the goal, always shooting high.

Talk to John Bewley from LJMS about the new TFS 260cc LS7 head. Flows on par with a mast 305 and better numbers in the lower lift areas if I remember correctly. If he sets you up with a pair from TEA they can't be beat for the money. I have the TFS 255 LS3 heads done by TEA and they are very nice.

what block are you running with the 255 (displacement), are they the genx? also what power level you making (auto/m6)

nitrous o_O... sorry forgot to mention.

block is erl 434 4.155x4.00, 12:5:1, figure if i can squeeze 1.3 hp per cube. and 2 stage 100/100. should be in the 7's.

427 dart LS next and yes they are the Gen X heads. Motor is going together right now and it's a twin turbo 1500+ whp application
