Isky Triple 12 cam wanted-anyone have one or know Stock48 contact#?
UPDATE: Ordered the cam from Stock48 and received it. Pic's on the bottom of this page. Thanks everyone that responded.
I'm building a 5.3 Turbo setup for my 96 Z28. Originally, I bought an LS9 cam/timing cover/sensor/pigtail for my setup. But last night I was reading on that cam/turbo setup and found that it would provide a soggy bottom end response on my daily driver/weekend warrior. There were immense praises, however, for a cam known as the Isky Triple 12. From what I gather, you can only get it from a gent known as "STOCK48". He doesn't appear to have a 'storefront' so it has been a little difficult to figure out how to order the cam from him. Do you guys know his number or do you have one of these cams you're looking to sell?
Thanks!
Dave

Jarrett is a great guy always willing to help. He has tons of different cam profiles and if you describe your setup he will take the time to explain which cam you need.
The triple 12 is actually a very small cam. 212/212 on a 112 LSA. Most people here go with a cam with 10 to 20 degrees more duration. However it never fails to make big power and run good times. Denmah made over 700 to the wheels with his triple 12 in a junkyard 5.3 through a 4L80e on pump gas, and turned it up a good bit more at the track. I think Forcefed86 is running one in a 4.8 that's running 9.0 @ 150s.
I went with his 218/218 after talking to him. I had my cam within a week and he is on the other side of the country.
Like the others said, just send him a PM, He should get back to you within a day or two. He's pretty active here.

Excellent! I sent him a PM. Thanks everyone. I had noticed that on some threads (he's active on several boards) that given the vehicle and/or weight, he does vary from the 212/212 to 218 or some such to tailor the performance. Nice to know he has such a great rep!

Just got a PM return from Jarret (Stock48). Like you guys said, super nice and responsive. He thinks the Triple 12 would be best for my combo and goals. He even went on to mention some things in my combo that would not work that well and went on to recommend a couple of things (both were transmission related). Thanks again everyone.

jarrett is always good for it, he is a one man operation and just had a little boy recently so i am sure that might slow him down as he doesnt get much sleep anymore haha

I gave him the complete spec's on my setup.
Engine components(compression ratio), weight, driving style, HP goals, turbo(s) size, transmission type/configuration, intended use, etc. He wants this info so he can make sure which of his evaluated cam grinds would be best suited for your purposes.
I paid $389 + shipping (from CA to NY).
As Denmah said, he's a new father now and add to that, busy as he can be beyond that on a normal day. He will respond to you and is always a gentleman and professional.

I bought the cam awhile back but it took my engine builder foooor eeevv errr to put it together(he blueprinted the 5.3) due to his very ill father whom unfortunately passed away despite all efforts. Then, after I got the cam, I started a new contract in Dallas that only let me come home every other weekend, so no significant wrench time for the year and a half that lasted. The contract finally was amended so I could work from home starting last month. So, I've been tuning the car myself and the engine is running amazingly. But the idle stays seemingly too rich, no matter how I modify the VE. So I'd been reading about the topic of 'Injector Timing'. This seems to be a benefit if the writers in the forums can be believed. The user "Bluecat" has a spreadsheet that helps target the settings but the input needs the cam cards settings. Due to my engine builder either keeping or losing it, I don't have the cam timing card. Do any of you have one around you can screenshot and send to me?
Thanks!

If you're using hptuners go to fuel > transient > minimum fuel milligrams and if you haven't already messed with this set it to .020 or something. This basically allows larger injectors to actually go down to their minimum pulse width. Pretty common problem and the table really is in a goofy spot.
