Ls6 intake with a turbo?
I know this has been in previous forums over and over but reading them has just confused me more. I am buildup a turbo 5.3, was planning in using the ls6 intake. This will be a 6 speed street car by the way. But to me with boost it seems that most of the air would go.to the back cylinders with an ls6 intake? So doesn't the victor jr setup seem safer? I'm not worried about power just don't want my #7 and # 8 cylinders to run lean. If yoi guys thing they will be fine then that what I'll do. Don't want to cut up my hood for sure.
thanks,
BTW, also building an LM7 turbo with T56....just going so slow that I want to tear my hair out.

I'd guess some of the truck intakes really arent far behind them at all in terms of performance, and they are cheap.

As far as the truck intake, I was having a discussion with my friend who uses SolidWorx frequently. He said that he once ran a simulation with a design that was similar to a truck intake vs a car for ***** and giggle and the truck manifold offered a bit more low end and top end due to runner path to the head and design. Again, this was a simulation discussion so the real world may prove to be a bit different.
Main reason I went with the LS6 intake is due the space restriction in the chassis the setup is going into. I had no choice but to run a car intake and for the price, the LS6 was the easy choice for me.
The LS6 intakes have gotten crazy price wise-I rember buying a new one in the $150 range, but they have long dried up, lol
