5.3L torque monster...
To make plumbing easier, I am also thinking about using an intake that has an intercooler built in.

I think Jim has a similar philosophy as what I am after here. The Caddy is a tank and needs plenty of low end to get it moving.

I would imagine if their small enough and boost hits VERY early, is it OK to drive around in boost all the time? Would fuel effiency take a hit, or would it all even out since you would need less throttle opening to move around? I guess you can go with an even tighter converter and even less gear.
Right now, I can drive around out of boost. I can hear the turbo spooling going up a hill but that's about at driving speeds. 3500rpm is when it all starts to happen which is kinda good b/c my normal operating rpms in 2000-3000rpms.
Using a gen4 5.3 with flat tops and 243s, 10:1 compression, ls6 cam. Bought two cxracing ball bearing gt35s. The exhaust wheel is a little small but should be full boost at less than 3k rpm.
Hoping to make 700/700 through an auto on e85
It makes almost 700lb/ft of torque off idle
It's also on 364ci with 11:1 compression
It might be hard to get turbos to do exactly what you want with a 5.3
My car made 690ft lb at peak and spools at less than 3k through two gt35s, but even with the "small" turbos it doesn't make peak torque until 5k rpm
