Still using the stock rear
It doesn't shock the drivetrain nearly as hard with the turbos as it did with the maggie, I got a little 1 tire spin action a while back, changed the fluid and haven't had an issue since then

I'm on ls1gto but I don't go there much, there's good info to be had, just have to wade through the old crowd crying about fpfq and what not. Not many people fond of the ebay stuff
i answered a bunch of questions people had about the kit in someone else's thread over there

ah okay cool deal. surprised the stock running gear holds up to anything
like the power your putting down, turbo or otherwise !

...and yes, there are some crotchety old foges on ls1gto, no doubt about
it. i think i saw your post over there.

The power is really linear now, don't think it'll hurt the rear end unless I get it to hook pretty hard with a decent amount of boost built up
It doesn't do either of those things right now...lol

Still working great
Making great power for such a cheap/small package

Kid on a newer gsxr didn't know what he was getting into, told me to take the hit, at 18psi from a 60 roll it wasn't even close, put 5+ car lengths on him from 60 to 140ish.

I'm happy with them for sure

Well the transmission finally gave up completely
It's being rebuilt and should be done tomorrow
Also picked up a bad boy yank sc3400 converter for dirt cheap
It should let me build boost a little better on the brakes, hoping to see some much better 60s when it goes back together

Nice build!! Cx Raing website says you can still keep A/C with kit. I see that you are not using A/C. Did you delete A/C because of fitment issues? Do you think I could keep A/C and use this kit?

My condenser had a leak and it didn't look like it wouldn't fit anyway, so I tossed it
I talked to someone else with the kit and they said they got the ac to fit, but it took a decent amount of work
Mine didn't work anyway so I didn't care to try

The flat box can be kind of a pain to mount in a good spot that isnt permanent

Sold the car to a guy in south texas
The transmission has broken twice i believe...too much line pressure trying to get the puny 4l60 to live up to the power tore the pump up.

Other than that its still kicking *** as far as i know

It trapped faster every time i turned the boost up
At 17 psi it went 134-135
It dynoed there at 730 unlocked
At 20 psi it trapped 140
I turned it up on the street to 25-26 psi a handful of times and it didnt show any signs of power falling off.
A friend of mine put about half a car on me in a mid 800 hp c6z from 40-140 with me on 25 lbs

Turbos made some serious steam for how small and cheap they are

Kind of an older thread, but it came up when I was searching around for guys running twin GT35s.

I wanted to run Twin GT35s as well in the hopes for something that will spool up quicker on the streets. How early on did your set up start building boost at?

I’ll post updates on mine when done. Using same turbos on 5.3, in fact this thread is what got me to buy them.
