Default 1998 Firebird forged 370 billet 76 Straightline Performance Chassis work

I started a thread on the whole build but wanted one just for the chassis side. So people can speak to just the chassis stuff instead of going through a whole thread. I will post the other stuff in the 1st thread.

Car is getting a mini tub.. 8.50 cage with swing outs both sides and a few extra bars, through the floor subframe connectors, tubbed front end, and a custom narrow rear with TRZ adj. brackets, 9in ends.

Kevin is starting on the tube front. They are putting in a intercooler and radiator in the tube front. The intercooler bracket will be pinned in so it can be removed from the front for better access to motor.

These are the wheels going on the narrowed rear. I will have a 12in rim with a 325 radial for the street.

The v-series I got are lugs, the ones pictured are for a strut front. $2300.00 for front and back.

this has me wanting to minitub. I already going coil over and am narrowed 2.25 on each side. I'd love to have my 28" tires tucked like that.

It definitely changes the look when a wide tire is tucked. People have different opinions on mini-tubbing but it is the only way in my book. Tucked and low. Also, good for traction if the suspension is set up right.

Yeah, Kevin has been great. The ONLY thing that I am not super happy with is the down bar that goes through the dash. I wish it had followed the pillar more. But, I looks like the dash won't have to be trimmed
