***Late Model Racecraft RvW Drag Radial Build Thread***
This is the same car I drove to High School and College and made a plenty of money on the street. Then decided to take it to the track and it became the first ever 7 sec LS1.
Then I am sure most of you have seen the LSX Firebird we have been racing the past couple years in Outlaw 275.
**THIS ROLLER IS FOR SALE, Asking $27k obo....
Last season we knew it was going to be the last season with this chassis so we started the build process around the middle of 2014 of the Camaro. Erik Dillard and I went back and forth on which route to go, we were very close on pulling the trigger on an all billet AJPE small block, but Erik talked me into the a 572ci stage 3 AJPE 481X. He told me he wants this engine to be the future in Drag Radial racing and we plan to show its potential with our car a long with others that have already been very quick with this combination. I had a previous shop start the chassis over 9 years ago when I started LMR. Since running the business it took over my time and $ so the car sat.
Middle of December we decided to pull the trigger and send the car to Stevens Race cars in Sante FE Texas where Rick and Matt(skinnyman) could work there magic to double frame rail it(at least that was the plan)lol. After looking the car over they practically started from scratch ripping bars out left and right. I told them it was ok and do what was needed. You can see how bad of shape the car was in when we sent it to them.
This is how it sat for almost 7 years at LMR..

I assume the turbos are at least 94s.
This is awesome guys. The car looks amazing, and I'm sure it will kick some ***. I hope your ready to drive it Steven, I'm willing to bet it will be a handful. Is Josh doing the chassis tuning?

Sub'd! Bad *** build so far. I remember the first time I saw the Firehawk at T&T at HMP one Sunday, back when it was all black. That car got me hooked on turbo's can't wait to see what this one'll do!
