It did come with the Sloppy tune as far as drivable it is a 408 LS based tune so it was quite rich for my camped 5.3 but a few adjustments and it is running good and just the little bit of driving the one time the drivability area in the VE table is very close. Once the trans is back in I am going to make a good clear video to show how easy the auto tune feature is and how quick it will dial it in.

Hey dirtylark, what trans are you using? If electronic are you gonna use the Micro Trans controller? That is a big mistake that I made, I jumped the gun and drop the $ on a TCI controller which is nice but will not communicate through CAN with the Gold Box.

Acer Windows 10. I have a TH400 but with a stock 6 bolt converter so I cant just throw that in. Dying to get either the parts for the 4L65E we rebuilt or the one out of this back. I also have a 4L80E out at some guy who went through it and did a "rebuild" on that I need to get in my van. Then the trans out of my van I'm going to go through and fix whatever mistake I made and that will get a good stall converter and go in this. The last two months have been absolute transmission hell for me and I have yet to find someone local that has a good understanding of what it takes to assemble a transmission to handle more than 100 horsepower granny driver. I have a PATC converter in my van and really, really like it compared to the last one I had in it. The Escalade has a Circle D 3000 and I am so absolutely blown away with the way it reacts and can not believe how much different of a vehicle it is.

Yeah just to get mine running I have a stock 3 bolt converter in it. Want to make sure the tranny checks out first. Sorry to hear about all of your transmission problems, thats a huge bummer. Is PTC pretty cheap having the $450 converter? I had just heard a lot of good about them on here and talked to a dude named Tim and he seemed legit.
Did you have any connection issues at all with drivers on you Acer? Denmah has the tune from fairmont 2 that should be close to my car so I will probably load that one up and see how she runs.

The converter from PATC is for my Duramax van with a 4l80e and I needed it in a hurry which they had this one built and shipped in two days but cost $900. No problem with any of the drivers. The injector setting are a little different from what I was used to but got them sorted and did a little adjusting to the VE table to get it running. Started out super fat and let the auto tune scale it back. Can't seem to find his tune library to look through some of his settings but it is super sweet just letting the feature do its thing.

Decided the wiring needed to be addressed and cleaned up so picked up the 6 circuit Buss blocks, fuses and ground blocks. Got most of it done in a few hours and still hoping I can get the trans wrapped up and in soon.
Some split loom and zip ties once all the wiring is set and she will be ready.
Decided to add the TCC function from the TCI controller.

Trans is back in and running again, but for some reason the TCI box is not working. Lights up when the key is off and turns off when key is on. the handheld doesn't work at all so that is really cool. Before pulling the trans the truck ran really good and now it has a surging idle and the coolant is not flowing like thermostat is stuck closed which is funny cause it is brand new (decided to change it while it was sitting). Good times

No idea whats up with your electronics, but the thermostat thing sounds like air in the system. Pretty common to have to "burp" these engines. Esp. after changing a thermostat. Sometimes you can just jack the nose way up to ensure the rad fill it the highest point. But you should use a giant "burp funnel". Let the motor run up to temp so the thermo pops, then run for a good 10-15 minutes. You'll see all the air bubbles come out.

Force, thank you for the video. I haven't had the common cooling holding air in three of these but just looked at the radiator and it is lower than the stock type truck hose where it loops up then down onto the water pump. Love this forum and all the help that's comes out of it. Dirty thank you too for the moral cheerleading support!
