Default Heads for procharged forged 346

Current setup is a forged 346, untouched 243 heads, vic jr with elbow, edc cam, d1sc. Car is a full weight gto, th400 trans, track car.

Thought of having the 243's worked, but not against going with an aftermarket casting (afr/tfs/prc)

Plans are to change the intake to a holley hi ram and get a new cam to match everything.

Reading through countless threads, but need some advice on where to go next.

Tia willing to listen to all advice and go from there.

I'm running AFR 225's. I was able to get them used and knew exactly were they came from, local deal. I never would've paid full price for them though $$$.

Start looking in the classifieds and see what used stuff costs vs new. You might find a great deal when someone changes their setup.

Why do you want to switch the intake setup? Vic Jr. is a good intake for boost. Vic would be better, but I don't see the Holley being an upgrade for you. As far as heads, I'd run the TFS heads. A set of hand worked TFS 220cc heads would be nice.

A super vic isn't out of q either. I have the hood clearance so that's not an issue.

I think I'd go that route.

AFR 225's, Brute Speed blower cam, F1A w/ 5.25 pulley, stock LS6 intake, TSP headers/true duals.

The car is down right now. Finally getting the cage installed and a couple other things done to it.
