how does that work? isn't the 4303 the upgrade for the 625?

simple, its not a inline pump like the 4303

What is the part number for this mysterious magnafuel "625" that flows better than the 4303 (magnafuel 750)?

I just did a little research. You must be talking about the 4701, which I believe does flow better (only slightly) than the 4303. The 47xx line is not for continuous duty though.

I've considered replacing my twin 4303 setup with a single 4703, but figure I just need to do the belt drive thing and be done with it.

What would be the idea single pump for my application? Something that will get me by for about 1300whp (gives me a little room to grow) on e85.
