Default Will these heads get the job done?

Hey everyone. Just curious in seeing your thoughts and opinions on running these heads for a turbo build. I was going to run these on my n/a lq4 but ptv was pretty tight with the cam I had speced for my application, so I decided to save them for a future build. Heads are 66cc 317s ,bowls blended, ss dart 2.02 1.60 valves, exhaust ports worked, 600 lift beehive springs. Im picking up a 5.3 short block and was wondering would these heads perform ok?? I know I'll loose a little compression but not tooo much. Im also leaning towards a bw s475 , not sure on size since this will be my first FI build and I will be contacting martin at tick for a cam. this will be for a street car but none dd with a goal of 600rwhp give or take (hopefully give ha ha) I also have a built th400 and will pick stall accordingly as well as a currie 9" ford rear with 31 spline axles. This is in a 3400lb g body 81 pontiac grand prix. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions

Get what job done?

Lots of people seem to think they cant run xxx casting head for whatever reason because one the turbo spins, the heads will magically explode.

Also, 66cc chambers arent exactly small. Your compression isnt going to drop below any sort of useable range with those. Basically once you mill 317 heads down that far, they act as if they are 799 or 243 heads.

Also, check clearance on that intake valve with the cylinder wall.

The job of reaching my rwhp goal which is about 600 give or take. The heads were only milled .20 but between the milling and larger valves not being "sunk" they ended up being 66ccs. Just wanted to know If I should use them or not and yes ill be sure to check all my clearances. Thanks

I think the 2.02 valve will be fine on the 5.3. I was curious because I remember seeing that number somewhere, but I think that's just the size of the biggest valve you can get with the stock seat.

Yeah that's what I was mostly concerned with. Im hoping they do well though. I already have them so I figured I'd try them. im definitely going to get a s475 since they're reasonably priced and it should meet my goals. Im just not up to speed on the different sizes offered. Any suggestions??

With most forced induction camshafts, p to v is generally much greater than a N/A camshaft due to the shorter overlap event a FI camshaft is normally ground with.
