Default Spark plug wire help

Was going to run the stock wires with the heat shield but the header doesn't help that happen. I was looking for a set of wires with possibly a 90* plug boot and the factory coil pack end. MSD makes the custom bend ones which suck, ran them on my bbc's, taylor makes some inexpensive decent wires but they are 180/135 etc. Sorry if this has been covered didn't know if I just needed to order a full set and buy a set of 90* boots separate and change them out. Thanks

I've used Taylor universal BBC wires, they have a 90 boot on them then just bought a pack of the Taylor ls1 coil pack boots and made my own set. I think I ended up having like $65 or so into everything

I just went through this exact same thing. I spent big $$ on the msd wires and was not happy with them. I popped the hood on our 2007 Chevy 2500 with the 6.0 new body style and it had factory wires with 90 degree spark plug boots. I ordered a replacement set for that exact vehicle and the wires work great with my upside down truck manifolds since the 90 end on the plug keeps the wire nice and tight to the head.

They should. Mine are aftermarket, but the factory ones looked like the boot was a bit more compact then the set I have.

Get gm wires or spend a lot of money on granitelli or firecore. The msd, taylor and other after markets don't snap on the plug very nice. Take them off a few times and you never get a good feeling that's its on all the way.

I run factory truck wires with 8-900whp turbo setup.

I used the MSD wires on mine, I needed one tight to the head to clear the downpipe-they were tight and perfect-one thing you do have to be careful on the coil, make sure its all the way on or it will slide off-listen for the click

No dice on the GM wire, they come out too far to the 90*, guess I will be working on making a set unfortunately. Need a conventional style 90* plugs end with the ls coil pack end
