The wheel speed sensor receives 12 volts from the electronic brake control module (EBCM) and provides a DC square wave signal back to the module. As the wheel spins, the EBCM uses the frequency of the square wave signal to calculate the wheel speed.
Voltage on light blue wire-LF and dark green wire-RF. Hope that may help shed some light on the sensors function.

I've been lurking for a while and never posted, but I finally can't hold back. lol
Denmah, you're my hero. I've been doing this all wrong for years. Spend multiple years building a vehicle, put WAY too much money into it and even more time. Then when it's finished, it's too nice to drive. So after it sit's in my shop a couple of years I decide to sell it because I'm not driving it and then I get the bug and do it all over again.
I have watched all of your builds and I have changed my whole mindset.
By the way Colorado doesn't have quite the sleeper effect as a Fairmont, but what an awesome build and what an awesome daily driver.
Man thanks for all of the free tips and info and all of the help that you are to so many of us.
I can't wait to see what's next.

haha love it and its so true! People always give me grief about my ugly truck manifold.
I still cant get over how much power these old 100k+ mile blocks handle. I'm wondering if part of it is people are scared to turn up the wick on the expensive builds because they might pop an expensive engine. But when you can get a 5.3 for $500 shipped on ebay the boost **** gets a workout!

Awesome to see you getting notoriety. Im curious though, how tough was it to TIG that intake piping? Im trying to find someone to weld on my BOV flange onto my shiny chinese aluminum piping and no one seems to be able to do it. Any tips and tricks?
