yes for launching at the track if it cuts a 1.8

and then anti lag cutting 1.5 would be quite the difference lol

I used a $16 universal wheel speed sensor on mine. Works great on the MS3. I don't see the ebay listing now, but this one is close.

i could do the same thing with the Hall effect sensor and just point it at the studs, lots of options just have to choose what i want to do lol

how did you wire that magnetic pickup and into what input?

The wheel speed sensor receives 12 volts from the electronic brake control module (EBCM) and provides a DC square wave signal back to the module. As the wheel spins, the EBCM uses the frequency of the square wave signal to calculate the wheel speed.

Voltage on light blue wire-LF and dark green wire-RF. Hope that may help shed some light on the sensors function.

I've been lurking for a while and never posted, but I finally can't hold back. lol

Denmah, you're my hero. I've been doing this all wrong for years. Spend multiple years building a vehicle, put WAY too much money into it and even more time. Then when it's finished, it's too nice to drive. So after it sit's in my shop a couple of years I decide to sell it because I'm not driving it and then I get the bug and do it all over again.
I have watched all of your builds and I have changed my whole mindset.
By the way Colorado doesn't have quite the sleeper effect as a Fairmont, but what an awesome build and what an awesome daily driver.
Man thanks for all of the free tips and info and all of the help that you are to so many of us.
I can't wait to see what's next.

^^^Love it.^^^

The intake pipe is great. If you ever decide to clean that up (I know you wont) a couple 90's work great for getting over the truck alternator.

Are you trying to use PT4 or PT5 on the gold box? I don't think those inputs will accept the a/c wave from a VR sensor, as I understand it, they will only really accept a true digital On/Off 5V signal, but maybe I am mistaken on that?

500 @ 6 psi
608 on 10psi lifting because fuel running out, I have some kinks in the plastic feed line thinking that's it lol pretty happy it's making 28~whp per psi so might go 700 on 15ish crazy. No wonder it's a handful on 6 psi

Well that has to be a huge relief. This one is Def. Not limited to 500whp. Congrats. That's making some steam.

I really need to do something like this. I'm so tired of hearing from my friends that this junkyard LS engine turbo stuff is bullshit.

haha love it and its so true! People always give me grief about my ugly truck manifold.

I still cant get over how much power these old 100k+ mile blocks handle. I'm wondering if part of it is people are scared to turn up the wick on the expensive builds because they might pop an expensive engine. But when you can get a 5.3 for $500 shipped on ebay the boost **** gets a workout!

Awesome to see you getting notoriety. Im curious though, how tough was it to TIG that intake piping? Im trying to find someone to weld on my BOV flange onto my shiny chinese aluminum piping and no one seems to be able to do it. Any tips and tricks?
