Yeah, it could be an anti-drainback check valve. Either way you should not have fuel coming out of the top of the pump in a free flow condition.

Awesome build!! I just started a turbo 5.3 Colorado build last week, hoping you could help me out... I accidentally dropped the tank and it ripped out the wiring in the two plugs on the sending unit.... I was hoping you could help me out with which color wire goes in which spot?

Thanks!

stock regulator runs 58psi, i dont plan to ever reference it, since 90% of fuel pumps loose flow at higher pressures, last 20 cars ive built have locked pressure

So you just lock the fuel pressure at 58 and let the duty cycle fall wherever it may up in boost?

That's cool, good to know. I was wondering the same thing about fuel injectors, these Siemens 80s you always use work fine and the fuel pumps stay happy at say 17psi boost?

What diameter is the exhaust on this beast, and is the WG routed into the exhaust, or atmo dump?

Yes, but this will be limiting depending on injector size.

Bigger injectors with lower line pressure is always preferred, but gets expensive in a hurry if your making any real power.

That's what I meant. Weird that the fuel seeps out of the pump like that. Maybe that how the pump bypasses fuel?????
