I like to setup the AFR safety table as well as over boost. If it’s off more than 1 point lean from the desired AFR, mine shuts down.

well, with the long lower hose across the front of the truck, some hard acceleration must have caused the hose to fall back into the crank while spinning haha, its like 1-2 inches away, but a long run in the center.

rubbed through the other day, definately need to zippy it to the swaybar or rad support to hold it away

failure number 2 at 1003 miles

oh yes, truck also makes 644whp on 12psi, 16deg of timing, thru the unlocked auto but out of fuel pump on 75% ethanol, with the 400 in the tank on 80lb injectors, going to install a 2nd 400 in the tank hat with a much bigger feed wire for both pumps. to see if i can go farther.

That's awesome it was a minor repair. I recently had some steam vent tubes leaking and thought it was a hg. 20 minute fix vs 2-day fix.

Do you normally run 16deg of timing or have you bumped it up due to the higher ethanol mix?

Whats the Inject DC looking like on those 80's? I would like to run the 80s because they are cheap, but think I will run out of fuel too quick on e85. I have a 450 and 255 in tank with dual -6 feeds. Injectors will definitely be the limiting factor.

Whats the next size up budget high Z injector with injector data available? You ever go any bigger than the 80s Matt?

unsure but i have the same air fuel at 12psi, with 17ms and 22ms opening time. so its not the injector just the supply

Whats the next "budget" high Z next size up injector from the 80s? You ever run anything but the 80s Matt lol? I know the 80s will be holding me back on e85.

Assuming you have enough pump, 80’s will make 800+whp on e85 with a rising rate regulator and 68-70 psi base pressure. Cheaper to buy more pump than to upgrade the injector up to 800whp or so. (2 AEM 380s’ will do it)

0280158827 are the new Bosch160 hi-z’s. $560 a set. LOW-Z 160’s won’t idle pump gas very well in my experience, though I haven’t tried the new Bosch HI-Z 160’s, they may work fine.

My set up is dual in tank pumps - walbro 450 and a walbro 255, dual -6 teflon feed, -6 retrun, vacuum reference FPR (1:1). Plan on 4 bar FP if I run the 80s (more like 96 lb/hr). Running the numbers, it looks like I need about 110 lb/hr injectors to stay at ~85% DC.

How do you feel about these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-8-High-Impedance-60lb-EV1-Fuel-Injectors-for-Ford-GM-V8-LT1-LS1-LS6-630cc-/231281673274?hash=item35d976443a:gxwAAOSwT5tWHFY q&vxp=mtr

They are clearly cheap knockoffs. I bet Matt has tried these ya? Any difference from genuine Siemens?

i would be weary of anything that isnt real siemens deka 80s, or just buy 250 dollar GT500 60s

realistically the most important part of the entire turbo car build is the injector and fuel pump followed by converter in my opinion lol
