That is amazingly good! This (with a full exhaust) truly is a fantastic all-around setup for a fast daily driver.

You just use the factory fuel filters with built in regulator and not rising rate regulator? So at 17lbs your at 41psi fuel pressure? Or is your base higher?

Saw your comparison pics to the 88/83 that is helpful!

Think the S480 clone will make low-mid 900's at 25PSI?

I would think the stock regulator is manifold referenced, so it will be running 58 psi across the injectors no matter the manifold pressure.

Sorry if you posted it somewhere but when will VSRacing start selling these S480 clones? I'm thinking about using one on my LQ4 Fbody now after reading this.

Actually, I wonder if it'll even fit in an Fbody? Lol.

I would guess denmah just has the reference line removed. So no vacuum or boost applied means 58psi all the time as measured at the rail.

And roughly 41psi delta across the injector with 17psi boost in the manifold.

Where can that podcast be found? And what do the initials TAC actually mean? Lol

Anybody actually confirm this is a rising rate regulator (or at least a reducing rate unit) vs it being just a pulse damper of some sort?

Typically they drop lrrsdure when there's vacuum. That's the reason for the vacuum hose. I know some raise for sure because a dry nitrous system can pressurize the regulator to increase pressure.

From my experience it acts like a 1:1 rising rate regulator.

See the below screen shot of one of my logs. Fuel psi is roughly ~61psi at 2 psi boost. Then jumps up abruptly when my hobbs switch kicks the second fuel pump on but averages ~71.5psi at 10 psi boost(highlighted area). Same relationship has been recorded on 17psi logs.
