830 unlocked would be a pretty incredible amount of power, and just try to get traction in high to mow down a pass would be pretty incredible

yep, ill explain in a video i think

E85 was pretty retarded in my area, 3.75 a gallon, hardly worth it.

recently dropped to 2.55 wich is why i have been using it alot, content is around 77% right now, and i would rather just stick to it and see what i think, instead of pump and meth for now and experiment with the 160lb injectors and see whats reasonable.

with the content sensor is nice knowing i can go and fill up with regular if i want to blend it to any %

Awesome!! Out of curiosity, would your turbo choice be any different with a 4.8 or 5.3 and how much less power do you think a 243/799 headed 4.8/5.3 would make with the same JFR cam and all other components identical?

I'm doing one for my camaro and have been nervous about not getting the tubes lined up perfect, then i saw your video with the tubes not lining up and i'm not quite as worried....my tubes are slip fit and i don't wanna dish out $$ for a truing bar, machine work is crazy expensive by me. I did not look at that- but the failure rate of the China 044's especially on e85 has been astonimical in my experience, and they do NOT like high pressure (which is the real 044's claim to fame) But you definatly pose an interesting proposition with triple Ching Chong 044s

That sounds like blue ***** to me?? LOL You can easily have that power with just a change in fuel type? With a 70psi base pressure, you can probably see close too or over 900's WHP even though the sluchbox. Lock that ****** up and shoot for 1000!

If your down to party, I will set up a GoFundMe for it LMK

Im using a billet 76 bw
Fic 160s on e85 with 43 psi base

At 25 lbs of boost im only at 72% duty cyle

I think youll have the fuel system to max the turbo or rods out, whichever decides to happen first

we have cut down 8.8s at least 5 times without issue and welded in a drivway with 110v welder also without issue

I found a piece of tubing that has a wall thickness of 3/16. With a little clean up with a sanding disc I presses a 3 in long piece into the axle tube after I cut it. I had done drilled 4 3/8 hole equally spaced around the tube and the piece of tube I was going to weld back on. After pressing the piece into the axle tube I plug welded it, 3/8 holes, I pressed the outer piece on lining up the line I had put on it before cutting. Then I welded in the other 4 3/8s holes. I clamped 2 pieces of heavy angle iron onto the tube but I wouldn't of had to because it was perfectly lined up and welded the axle tube jumping around to even the heat. Installed my other short side axle and everything worked perfect.

Matt, What do you do with the axles when you cut the housings? Buy new shorter ones?

yes, the wastegate placement would cause a runaway situation at higher boost
this is why i have one welded on the turbine housing now, its all in the other pages

its an offset rear, so you pull 2 shorter axles at the junkyard, then you cut down the longer side to match the shorter, approx 3 inches, installing two equal length stock explorer axles.

easier than you think

Would you mind doing a parts break down here on what you used? I imagine this saves a few bucks over a racetronix wiring harness. Thanks
