Looking good!

Those are nice injectors. Really cool they give you all of the data.

Can you get into what it takes to tune such "large" injectors?

Did you run into any issues with the 160s?

How do the 105's make you feel?

If you had read or watched any of the above posts and or videos you see he stated the fuel temps were causing uncontrollable afr issues and the new 105's were way more responsive and he is extremely pleased so far.

yes not just fuel temps, i did what i could to bring them down and its still an issue, the injector gets heat soaked from the motor and has the same issue, even if the fuel is the same temp as when you started the truck, i have even had the issue, pulled into a gas station and filled up with cold fuel, even colder than whats already in the system and it still has the issue, so, its once the injector reaches a temp, from fuel or the motor itself, it becomes a non linear and unreliable.

Interesting. So the rumors are true about these 160s. I read a few pages back, but didnt see it, my bad, I'm not watching every one of your posts jerking off to it, keeping tabs like ^^^. I will try and do that so I do not ask a question thats already been covered.

Well, $995 is a little pricey, but not really quite as bad as I expected I guess for quality parts... Lol

Link?

Did the car get fully to temp to see any possible heat soak issues, like 1+ hours of driving?

oh god I finally triggered. cant believe it. been lurking the past two years. followed from homemadeturbo, to theturboforums, and now here...and maintained lurker status.

I'm sorry but that video aside from the happy woosh noises is useless lol. it literally looks like a blue screen of death from the late 90s without the wording.

if you did that "intentionally" then ok but if not. man....c'mon. I wanted to see the readings.

Very interesting. I wonder how hot they get and at what point they start veering off of linear.

At the price point of the 160's, makes me wonder if it's worth the trouble to come up with a cooling solution. For the sake of trying **** for the hell of it, of coarse it is... but is it really? Dunno.

Couple wraps of copper or aluminum tubing around each one, small electric circulating pump and a trans cooler out front???

Ridiculousness? Perhaps. Perhaps not.

As always, I enjoy the updates Matt.

Or just run the fuel through a cooler pre-rail... I'm trying to think of the last time I ran my car for more than an hour. I drive to and from the track and to events and all, but I'm never in the driver seat more than an hour... If it takes 2 hours for them to go wonky, they would probably work for most anyway.

But-I wonder if some sort of phenolic intake spacer (popular in the import community) would help-or a ducted cooling element to the top of the intake?

He said it took about 2 hours for them to get heat soaked though! I'm sure it will vary with ambient temps and all, but that’s a pretty long cruise for most. Doesn't make me want to rush out and buy a pair, but realistically I think most would be fine.

lol, I said I didn't, not that I couldn't. 30" tire and 3.25 gears makes for nice highway cruiser.

Phenolic spacer on a plastic intake? Not gonna do alot IMO.
