Filters and filtration aside... Don't you have spare pressure sensors and a free ADC on the Gold Box to monitor and Log fuel Pressure? I seem to remember you showing you had a couple in your drawer, left side, under the computer.

The only one they did was a spin on style at a few hundred dollars each.

Straight from Bosch's website.

"Bosch recommends a 5µ filter and says anything over 35µ can cause injector damage"
Straight off the shelf at the local tractor supply for $22. Right next to it you can see the $15 filter that is 10 micron rated.

nice!! hell of a deal for a budget fuel filter. Beats buying a higher dollar name brand version.

The filters above also screw right on to the goldenrod head. They were cheaper at "tractor supply" locally for me. Make sure you don't get the filters that trap water.

Funny thing is, the filters that Force posted probably filter and perform better than 1/2 (or more) of this aftermarket bling stuff.

I usually just get the cheap summit filter for $60 (or sometimes the $30 ebay variant), the filter itself is replaceable for just a few bucks. Only comes out a few dollars more than the spin on once you factor in fittings to work with the AN line. It would make changing filters easier though.... I just don't have room for a spin-on. Budget racing at its best.

Are you talking about the little 4" long filters?

If you go with the summit stuff, be sure to get the pleated filters and not the smaller disc type. The disc style doesn't flow diddly. I couldn't even make 500hp with E85 with one.

like these

These are chinaa $13 SS filters. Similar to the summit pleated ones. I have used them too, but they don't filter as well as the paper/micro glass.

For their car petrol filters...only info I could find here was 20 micron !

Interesting that one is listed as a "microglass" filter....something "new" that Aeromotive have started offering as a multifuel filter for their normal alloy housings.

These were the ones ID recommended....TBH they just look like glorified oil filters at 10x the price.

Probably no different than what you are using.

To add to this, I'd value to seeing it in the RaceRender too.

What about some of the tried and true Fuelab filters? They seem more compact and easier to plumb / mount than the tractor store stuff.

And for those that use ethanol....paper filters are far from ideal.

Any experiance with them being less than ideal? I had a WIX OEM buick GN filter sitting in a jar of E85 for over 8 years and it still looked great. Goldenrod stuff says it's alcohol compatible. I'm not sure whats less than ideal about them. I split the filters every year and inspect them. Had them on about 8 cars now over 6 years or so and have never had an issue.

Here is a link to the cim-tek micro glass and other filters. I'd think the micro glass would be best, but I've never had an issue with the cellulose/paper stuff and ethanol.
