2000 SS Huron Speed Build/Resurrection
I know thats hardly an update!
I think we made some realizations as to why the TCC would not lock up via HPTuners. Originally the car was an M6 car and when I bought it, there was no transmission in it. The previous owner told me it last had a 4L60 in it. So when we did the 4L80 swap I just never had reverse lights or worried about the interior harness that hooks up to the stock shifter but I did swap to an auto pedal setup. Well, the clutch trigger was just zip-tied shut so the car would always start. I think this is what is keeping us from having the TCC lockup. SO, going to continue doing some research on properly converting the car to auto so I can get that functionality back. Anyway, Ill try and get some pics and video of the transbrake/2step/bump box working.
Where is everyone mounting their Smooth Stage box and LNC-2000? I was thinking about mounting them in the glove box.

It wasn't time for new tires as my Et Street S/S still had life left, but I didnt want to chance them being an issue trying to launch off the brake. I went with a 275/60/15 Et Street R this time around and cannot wait to try them out.
The car performed perfectly all day. Every time we go to an event I think, this is gonna be it, this is the time we push it onto the trailer. The GEN 3 SBE 5.3 just keeps taking more and more. My SCG1 at the end of one of my passes said that it saw 25lbs of boost and on the next pass it saw 26lbs. This is NOT sustained, it would probably be in the 23-24ish range after locking the converter.
Best ET of the day was 9.69 and the best MPH was 143.66 (DA was 2800 i believe). I set the 2 step and got on the transbrake and on the 9.69 pass it made 8lbs on the brake and the tires held fine. The next time up, I turned it up too much and it made 20lbs on the brake and I completely blew the tires off. Unfortunately that was the last pass of the day. Hopefully can get it around 10-12 and go from there next time out.
Here are a few pics:

I STILL have the front sway bar connected, I think I will disconnect it the next time out and see what happens. I have also never done anything (adjusting) with the suspension.
