No real updates as of now. I plan on spending time this weekend working on the car.

I got some carpet, a tail shaft that I think will work, and a Moser cross member for the 4L80E and my torque arm.My transmission is ready to go so I need to get a stall and flex plate next. Things are still coming slowly but making progress.

Got my auto pedals in:

Does anyone have pics of how the stock auto shifter mounts? There was a ratchet shifter installed in here and I pulled it. I've also never taken apart the stock auto so I dont know how it goes back together.

Maybe. When i bought the shifter assembly it came in a grocery sack in a bunch of different pieces so I'm not sure.

Do you have a pic of it?

Not sure this helps much but this is how mine looks. My car was a 6 speed car so we had to make a plate to cover the hole.

Nice! Carpet looks like new - mine is pretty beat up, figured I'd ask.

Looks like this project is coming along nicely.

No one knows where any of those loose parts go?

Not a lot of big progress lately. I drilled the hole in the block to low mount my alternator, finished putting the rest of my interior plastics in, and mounted my shifter (without all those loose parts?).

I am waiting for my stall and flexplate from Circle D and then plan on installing the 4L80 next. I have all the parts for the swap just need to cut the holes in the trans tunnel. Once the trans is in I want to start piecing together my fuel system (lines/fittings/Fuel Pressure Regulator).

Things are going just going slowly. Here is the only picture i snapped this weekend:
