Yes sir. Going to have to run a custom intermediate pipe.

Thanks for the compliment!

Some more little things got done last night. I checked 3 things off my list but added about 5 more. Trans cooler is installed, torqued the intake down, plugged in most of the harness in the engine bay, and I would have finished my fuel lines completely but ran out of -6 hose for my cross over. I had to the turbo back off to install the oil lines (which i should have done from the beginning) and then reinstalled that.

I'm more excited now as it seems like things are really coming together. Unfortunately, no pictures this time.

Last night the BOV was mounted and the WG was sort of mounted. The V-bands are an absolute pain to get on. The WG v-band is going to take a little more persuasion, it was late and I didn't want to wake my wife and son up. I need to source some vacuum line now to try and figure out all that works!

After not working on the car for a long time, I got some work done last night with the help of 2 of my friends. We put a battery in it for the first time and the fans work, the electric water pump works, and turns out I still had a few things left on my fuel system for the pumps to come on. We worked on finishing that up, bled the brakes, and made a short list of a few odds and ends I need to pick up.

I feel like some big steps were made last night. We finished up the fuel system wiring and got the hobbs switch wired in. Also got my vacuum block mounted! I got the wrong size silicone vacuum line so i need to order some more of that and I can get those ran.

I also sent my base file off to PatG for a startup tune. I am so stoked because I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Tied up a few loose ends last night. I am absolutely terrible at remembering to take photos at this stage, my apologies!

We got all my vacuum lines installed last night, o2 sensors, IAT sensor, etc as we went over the harness.

We tried building oil pressure by turning the motor over but it just wouldn't do it. Looks like I'll have to wait until Pat sends me the startup tune, hopefully this week.

So close so close!

Hopefully going to be starting it up tonight! I am so excited. The car hasn't run under its own power since 2008/2009.

My friend Ryan is having to modulate the throttle to keep it idling but ITS ALIVE!!

This car would not be running if it wasn't for my 2 friends in this video. They put in a lot of work to get the car to where it is and I can't say enough how appreciative I am.

I am so stoked!

Well guys, still waiting on my tune from PatG. The car is all ready to take a test drive down the street.

While I'm waiting, i have been doing some research on my exhaust setup. Right now, its open downpipe. I do have the corsa catback on the car but I need a custom intermediate pipe made. I found this, which is pretty much what I need:

My question is, should I get a cutout also? Am I leaving power on the table by NOT getting a cutout? Whats everyone's thought on that?
