I was just rustling feathers with the Flintstones carburetor comments.

If everyone is caught up on the carb intakes not getting a carb cam, omit them! Look at it as an 18 intake test. Christ on a cross, already.

It's still a good test, and more empirical testing than a lot of us ever would have been capable of on our own.

And yes, that can did work very well for many of those EFI intakes. Carbs are a different animal all together and you know this. That was a EFI grind, cut and dry.
And does that mean every car with a carb I destroyed...was not tuned by you ?

To be fair, that comment is just idiotic.

If your car car beats an efi car, the two cars are simply different. I'm sure you have also ran faster than other carb cars too...so where does that leave your comment ?

Bring this back up...

Looking at the "TBSS", it looks no different than a regular truck intake off of a later motor. Some of those can be had for real cheap. But, do you all think some of the gains were due to the larger TB/opening on this intake? The article shows a different TB on the TBSS intake vs the LS1/6.

The test was about intakes, it just so happened they also used carbs attached to those intakes.

And who said a carb is worthless ?

And who are you calling a retard ?

Acting is not saying, but you can ready between the lines. Many retards on tech that don't even work on their own vehicles and have never touched a carb think negatively about them as if they have no place in the world.
