Damn it's been that long since I've updated this thread?
Well not much has changed. Right now the car is still running the same setup but I'm really wanting to go to a t6 borg. The 7875 is great but it's kinda like a light switch it hits full boost immediately, also it doesn't seem to make any power over 15psi so it's maxed. Sometime this spring I'm gonna rebuild the hot side for the borg and really turn it up. I also am planning a cage and maybe some weight reduction.

So I've pretty much decided I'm gonna go to twins. Twin 7875s I know those are pretty big for a 6.0 but I've researched it quite a bit and i can make it work. So hopefully in the next couple months I'll be posting some updates as I make the changes to shoot for big power. I'm a little torn on what I want to do for the exhaust but probably just go out the hood.

Just read the whole thread. Late to the party. But really just in time to try and talk some sense into you......
but before that. Nice job on the car, paint looks phenomenal, and I like the attention to detail on things. Reminds me of...me. lol The afr gauge in the factory cluster.... I did that with a tach years ago in an old car i had. It had a useless clock in the gauge cluster and I replaced it with flush mounted tach. Thought the afr gauge was a nice touch.
you need to get it to the track. I think you'll be surprised what it runs. Put it to you this way, My heavy *** car with IRS and only 7lbs boost, with a smaller motor, almost dipped in the 10's my first attempt....with issues also (my v band clamp broke on my crossover pipe so i was losing boost from lack of spool, huge exhaust leak)
Since you are already single turbo, instead of wasting a bunch of money and time (dont you like to drive the car more than work on it?) I'd do one of the new updated t4 units from either 0n3 (7875 BMF) or the new updated VSR turbo. I'll include links to help. Just seems like too much trouble to do twins at this point and the big single might tame the boost lightswitch down some.

This one may be better for less monies.

or even this one 84mm

Thanks man I appreciate it! And as far as the turbo stuff goes. I might stay single but it'll be a t6 turbo. The t4 stuff just has to much back pressure, the car runs amazing but you can feel the power start to lay over around 6k due to the high back pressure. I may go with a s480 or s488 I'm not sure yet but I spin it to well over 7k so I want something that can breathe up top. The 7875 makes a great street setup I'd just like a little more for those long rips on the highway.

What cam do you have? Sorry if you posted it, I went back a few pages and didnt find anything on it except you put another cam in.
I find it hard to believe that its laying over at 6000 rpm and its solely turbo related. Why? My 5.7 (lets face it, theres not that much difference in cubic inches) will pull to 7200 with a small 222/234 cam in it. I'm sure my 243 heads dont flow as well either as your ls3 heads and my dorman intake probably doesnt flow as well asyour ls3 intake. It also looks like you used 3" intercooler piping, which i used 2.5". I missed what size your crossover pipes are but mine is 2.25". Also, Your intercooler is worlds better than mine and I bet flows more air. I'm not running but 12-13lbs right now, but I dont see my rpm being limited if i pour more boost in. You also have more down pipe than me. Maybe your cam isnt suited to pulling that kind of rpm? You should pull past 6500 pretty easily. Have you logged it and see if you are dropping boost up top? maybe you have a exhaust leak before the turbo like i did, i couldnt hear it either. are you going up in timing past 5000 or down? Is your fueling rich up top? Just some ideas.......
