Default S475 or PT7675

Car is a 5th gen camaro auto. Currently stock car. Will be swapping over to ls3 top end and a turbo cam. Will swap converter out as well to match needs for the turbo. Turbo setup will be single. Space is an issue. If I run the pt7675 I'm going to be doing a 3 inch downpipe to exhaust. If I'm to do the s475 then the car will be a open 4 inch downpipe as the space will be limitation. There is not a power goal for the car but I do not plan on touching the bottom end. Car will be on 93 pump gas. End goal is a reliable street car that'll do 10.99 through the stall and drag pack.

Either will be fine but that little 7675 will get choked fast by a 6.2 and a 3" downpipe.

Cant beat BorgWarner price but the size and weight come with it. Its harder to find room for it and over twice as heavy, you will probably spend the same or more overall moving things in the engine bay to fit it. Ive seen a few installs where the S475 spools up slower as well but that may be cam/tune dependent. On the 20lb PT7675 I use a 3-3.5" transition right off the PT7675 and a 3.5" downpipe in a Pontiac G8.

10.99 is a walk in the park, mine ran 10.1 sitting a little over 4200lbs on wastegate boost and 10 degrees of timing. Running pump gas I would look into meth injection to keep it reliable, bad pump gas could ruin your day.

When space is at a premium, PT76 all the way. I made over 850whp with that and a 3in DP. Theyll make similar power, but the size and weight of the s475 turn me off a lil when the precision performs just as well.

For the pt76 I'd run a 3 inch exhaust with a cut out to the factory exhaust. With the 475 it would be an open 4.

Dumped behind the kmember, it's where most people would put a cutout

Theyre both good options, im actually struggling with choice as well for my truck. My Camaro made 700whp through an unlocked 80e on a mustang dyno with a pt7675 and a 383 cube engine. Fuel system couldn't go any further.

I went 151.7 last weekend on a pt76
It spools quick on a 5.3, 14-15 psi is only at 40% duty cycle on the controller

Theyll make a bunch of power on a 5.3 but im afraid with the full exhaust and extra cubic inches you might run in to some back pressure issues

The borg turbo is physically massive compared to the precision, but if you have the space for it i think it would probably suit your engine a little better
