Default Alternator mounting

I have a 06, 6.0. I have the alt off it, but no mounting bracket. Do they sell a mount, low mount or something? I don't have a p/s pump or A/C to worry about.

Depends on where you want to mount it.

Dirty Dingo makes quite a variety of mounts and or look on here in classifieds for a stock setup. They pop up from time to time.

Aei makes a nice low mount passenger setup. I have one for sell.

ICT Billet has some for $60. You should buy a SFI crank anyway, Might as well buy the LS7 style water pump. (lighter more volume, more clearance) Think I gave $130 for mine new. And just use LS1 spacing IMO.

I have an ICT billet mount on mine. Diver's side up high. Not way out there like a Corvette bracket. Nice quality, good price. Think it was around $50. Also, it locates the alternator with the Corvette spacing, but it has the bolt spacing for the truck alternator which is much cheaper.

Do you have pics? Any idea if it'll clear eBay up & forward headers? It's hard to tell by the pics on icts website.

Drill and tap the block (easy) and use a car mounting bracket.
