Default 3" or 3.5" outlet on twin turbo FMC?

Looking at a Treadstone TRTTC9 twin turbo intercooler for my car. Turbos will be twin BW 366's and planning on pushing about 24lbs of boost on a forged 6.0. I see an option for going 3.5" outlet or 3" outlet, but the inlets are still both 2.5". Is there a benefit to using the larger outlet on my combo?

Pics of car/build?
I'm in process of swapping to s366 right now.
I chose the 3" down pipes. Told it won't hold me back up to ~1200

I think he's talking about the outlet on the intercooler. Look up the guy that did twins on a 408 in a Nova. He used a Treadstone. His car runs really good.

No build pics yet I'm afraid. I built this car from a bare shell over 20 years ago and had to sell it after I moved to Arizona and lost storage out here before I could come back for it. Been back 5 years now looking for it and just found it this September! Worked out a deal with the guy and now she sits back in my garage.

Currently a 461ci BBC, Dart 320 heads, TH400 and a 9" with 4.30 gears. Runs 10.80's through the full exhaust, but she needs to be redone after sitting outside for the last 15 years. Just gathering parts at this point and hoping for the Chevelle to be finally finished this Spring so I can tear into the Camaro! I have a ton of parts already but the Chevelle is a single turbo build so I figured go twins on the real race car!

The pics with the kids and of photos are from over 15 years ago when it was first built.

I was also wondering about the downpipes on the 366's. I think I will have room for 3.5", but if not it's good to know 3" will not severely limit me.

You wouldn't happen to remember his screen name would you? Was it recently in the forced inductions section?

I will once it gets underway. Have to get the Chevelle done first though so I don't have 2 cars sitting apart in my garage.

Your car should be crazy with twin 366's and a stick with small tires!

3" ic outlet or 3" downpipe will not limit anything below 1000 but id choose 3.5 on both every time.

Just try and match up to your TB side. looking at the build- I'd say its going to be 3.5

Very nice! It sounds like I can go either way with this and not be limiting myself too bad.

I've got the same intercooler with twin tnetics 72's on a 398. Haven't got it together yet though sorry... Went with 3.5" outlet.
