Default SDCE stuff arrived

Got my bracket and crank pulley in the mail today, I got to wait until friday for the 3.4" pulley and the belt, I guess ATI doesn't make a 3.2" offset pulley, but Wendy is going to do some more talking with ATI to see if they can get one......

Either way I'll see how this works, I'll be installing the crank pulley tonight at friends shop and then installing the blower and what not tomorrow when I get the belt and blower pulley....

I'm going into the shop on monday-wed for dynoing

BIG props to SDCE, this stuff looks great and I can't wait to get it on the car, I really hope it works out for me Thanks for getting the stuff to me quick

Also, does anyone else not see the instructions on the SD webpage, I can't seem to find them, I got a sheet printed out, but I wanted to take a closer look at the blown up images

Sounds great.

Might as well pin the crank while you are down there.

I'd say within a couple of weeks of receiving it. I have to have the thing powder coated, got to put the new heads on, inspect the cylinders, hook up the alky, and then I'm ready to hit the dyno. I'll be workin hard the next few weekends

Not sure what size I'm getting. I think the 4" pully. I'm still a stock engine so i'll be gunning for 8-10 psi for now.

You should see the boost you are wanting Mike.... I calculated that you will be spinning your kit to 46K RPM's and on my stock motor with the MMS crank pulley and a 4" blower pulley i was spinning mine at 49K RPM's..... but probably was getting slip and i saw 11 psi at 6200 RPM's and i had a baby 212/218 .522/.529 114 lsa cam and LT's and a LS6 intake as my mods.

want? I want to see 18 psi of boost, but that ain't gonna happen on this engine :p It won't be long though. For now a conservative 8-10 should hold. Hopefully I'll be able to get the motor built this off season and I can run with you big boosters. I'll let you guys know how things go.

I got the crank pulley installed today, I was suprised as to how much it sticks out of the stock balancer, but after torquing to 220fltbs I started it up and the thing is sitting perfect in there, no wobbling at all, I used this balancer from the start with the original 6 rib, then to ASP 8 rib, then to ASP COGS, now I'm still using it with the SDCE stuff....

I'm supposed to have a package at my doorstep tomorrow morning, so that means I'll be getting to work on getting the blower put back in the car and getting things bolted out, it looks like I might have to use a spacer or two to get the clearance I need, I was expecting the pulley to sit close to the stock balancer, oh well......

I'll post tomorrow after I get the stuff bolted on and the car started up, its still untuned and running fairly rich with the 60's, so I'll probably give it a few part throttle blasts just to make sure the alingment is good and the belt doesn't walk off.....
