Keep it light. And get a quick spooling turbo. Turbonetics 7875 ball bearing turbo w a 1.15 ar housing. Makes as much hp a s470 types. Half the weight. Easier to package. Lights off dam near instantly. Looks good. 1 year warranty.

What are the goals with the car? I just did the switch from 7675 to 8883 on a 5.3L. The 88 will have more top end for a race car but the 7675 is more streetable and spools a bit quicker. My car is heavy so a 3200lb Fox should FLY!

Not my ad but I saw it earlier...a win, win for your setup and the price of it IMO

** don't know why I can't get the link to work but it's a new ON3 78/75 for $380 shipped

600-800 is a BIG window.

88's overkill IMO. I'd go with the "new" 77/83 VS racing sells for $500.

Any decent turbo in the low 70mm range would easily make that sort of power. You could even step down to a good unit in the high 60's at a push.

Even a crap 88mm would be overkill.

No idea what power it makes, the 76mm went 9.8@139, the 88 went 9.6@145 in a 4k lb car. Both around 20lbs and 13 degrees timing.

Mostly stock 5.3L with a TU1 225 .580 cam, BTR springs, stock intake and exhaust manifolds, 862 heads, TH400 w/FTI stall, 3.27 gear, 28" tire.
