Default How much boost for me?

Ok , I knew my brain would get in the way of this simple, low boost turbo set up Ive been planning, .
My dynamic compression is 8.82....static is 10.7. Im building a single turbo, BLOW-THROUGH CARB set-up without an inner cooler, but with water-meth. I want to safely (somewhat) run between 6 and 8 lbs of boost. Do I have to change out my cam and lower my dynamic to live with my low boost plan? What is my dynamic/boosted/effective compression ratio?

Btw though. Not sure of your cam specs but im runnin a 235/243 with .630 /.610 lift an i was told that runnin a cam of that spec i jus wouldnt get as much power per # of boost as you would with a turbo oriented cam.. Hope that helps you a lil anyways...

Check out "DCR revelation" on this board. I think I figured it out,

DCR is only accurate at cranking speed to perhaps 1,500 RPM.
By 3,000 you have nearly your full nominal static CR.
If you don't have at least nominal static CR when your torque curve starts your cam is wayyy too big.
