I have one of the kits

The kits was about 8000.00 with the up grade to the T 74Q trim. Is the kit worth it hell yes!!!!!! My kit is about 2 years old it was like kit number 4 that Rob put out. There is nothing like a Turbo ls1. My car has about 12,000 miles on the kit now and I have the ls1 edit and I am not a good tunner but I am running mid 10s now.

One thing

Have Rob do the tunning and installation

You will spend about that for parts and install (at QMP) I think the last I saw his kits were 7500.

You will also need to build up your drivetrain, and if getting serious (more than 6psi) building up the motor is recommended (by me).

So I wonder what kind of HP and torque 6 PSI would net me?

From what I understand Rob is having issues with his web site. Best to call him and ask... I heard 500+ at the rear at one time. Never got mine tuned or dynoed before the pistons popped. I will be making more than 500 when all said and done, with a tiny T76

HP with boost is all numbers, it's a percentage. Assuming all is well, tuning is good etc. you will make roughly 6.8% more hp/tq per pound of boost. So with your setup let's say your making roughly 370rwhp, at 6lb's of boost that equates to about 521rwhp. These numbers are not on the dot but they are pretty damn close. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input guys. I was just wanting over 500 HP and Torque. I really didn't want to do the bottom end now to though. I figured that I would be ok If I didn't get to greedy with the boost. But hey if the bottom end did go then it would just be an excuse to stroke it!

My thoughts exactly hence the reason the forged 6.0L is going in, stock bottom end let go at the track while N/A so might as well go the turbo route.

i think stainless works is selling all the required tubing/manafolds now. you'd have to piece together the kit like turbo, intercooler and wastegates etc.
there is more info on the other site.

I heard he's still doing it. You just have to go to him for the install. and i also hear he is going to start doing a twin-turbo kit for an f-body. But im not sure on that twin-turbo thing.

I believe 9 out of 10 customers are plenty happy with Rob's work.
There always those few that get mad at Rob for not being there
all the time to answer questions. Dont get discourage about a post.
