Default Anyone use Ball/socket flanges instead of Vbands pre-turbo?

Getting ready to build another turbo kit and a buddy has several of these laying around for free. I'm tempted to use them, but curious if anyone else has used them pre turbo with success?

Did you ask this on yellowbullet? I'm curious to know what people have found (if anyone has actually tried them).

Sure didn't.

Now that I think about it though the OEM grand nationals used ball flanges and they seemed to hold up great.

I've used one on a crossover aswell, no problem at 18psi boost give or take. No idea of the exhaust backpressure.

I would think it would work great and eliminate the need for a flex pipe.

I believe that On3 uses them on some of their crossovers.

I like V bands, but ball/socket flanges are nice in that they allow for some adjustment...that being said...ball/socket flanges are terrible in that they allow for movement haha
