Default Low hp #

I just installed a d1sc on a bolt on Ls1 it was pushing 5-6 ps1 and it only put out 366 last time I dynoed the car without the d1sc it put out 344. The tune looked good and the graph is smooth. Afr was right on. I am running the 6 rib setup. From what I found online I would think I would put down closer to 450

That sounds about right. See the turbo vs supercharger thread. .

What was the AFR? Did you boost leak check it before the dyno? Post up a graph.

I did not boost leak I will have to search to see how to do that. I would think I would get more hp with 5 psi than 20

Sorry but 5-6 lbs of boost will not get you 450hp. You need to be around 10 ish.

Are their trees on the planet you live on? 6lbs on a bolt on LS1 should have no problem hitting 450rwhp. He has a problem in the system.

Could be a lot of things, converter, tire spin, etc-where were you taking the boost readings.
Sometimes dynos are not friendly to certain combos, but the weight/MPH tell the truth.

Check the RPM VS vehicle speed to see if the converter is slipping. What brand converter is it?

Here is the dyno sheet I am wondering if it could be valve float or weak springs. What should I log in my hp tuners to get to the bottom of this

Need more info on setup . What kind of fuel pump and injectors. You said reading boost off map sensor you don't have an actual boost gauge. You got a log of the run and I'm not talking about the dyno graph. Like rpm, tps, ltft etc...

What springs are in there? I initially thought springs but the power usually drops off when you float. Your chart drops a bit but is still climbing at 6K.

The squiggly lines towards the peak hp look to me like belt slippage. The 6 rib blower belt has to be as tight as a guitar string. Bob
