LSX intake on FI motors?

LSX intake on FI motors?
It would seem that the LSX is a better investment for people running FI or big cubes than for people running boltons or most h/c.
But I have heard that there have been some "problems" getting it to work with FI setups.
Has anyone here personally experianced the LSX on a FI motor? Does it produce good results that make it worth investing in over the LS6 for an FI motor? Anyone have back-to-back tests vs LS6?
I'm looking at you, Rob Raymer...

I don't think Rob posts here much anymore. Sad deal. Always good info..
But, I was also wondering this exact thing, I am looking about buying the LSX intake for a FI LS1 Vortech G-Trim. Not sure what kind of gains I would see.

i could of swore Rob had the lsx manifold on his new setup when he built the engine.
yeah..i just checked his webpage and on page 2 the lsx is on the engine.
BUT i remember him posting later that it was removed and either the stock ls1 or ls6 intake was put on. dont quote me on the my last statement but i do recall something like that.

Forced induction cars are less sensitive to the intake manifold selection because air is being pumped in under pressure. Temps and boost levels can be reduced with a better flowing intake but it is all acedemic if you can turn up the boost a little more. Keeping the intake temp in check is a goal, to reduce detonation. Look in the old postings and you will see plenty of cars using stock intakes or LS6s. Unless you are building a high-dollar monster, invest that same amount money elsewhere, like a bulletproof torque arm and drive shaft or maybe alchohol injection.

Might be popping out the MAF sensor?
FAST said the intakes are pressure tested to like 25 or 26 psi, but I also had heard of one contact who had problems with the MAP sensor not sealing right.

Its actually the MAP sensor in the back it fits like **** I would imagine 5 psi would pop it out fairly leasily, on my stroker vacuum hold its in, but its loose, I throw some RTV around it to help seal.
If I were to run boost with this intake, after port matching it I would epoxy or come up with a way to secure that damn thing, stock manifolds have a clip that hold the map in, on the FAST intake there is nothing, I was a little disappointed at that.
