Holley Sniper intake review

It's an intriguing intake for me. I'm running an LS3 intake on my procharged LSA and would like a little more top end (current HP peak is~6700) and have been eyeing this as a reasonably priced option. Certainly more cam always helps the top end, but from what I've seen it seems the stock LS3 intake wants to level off in the mid 6k's.
But then the same would apply if it was a $3k fancy name short runner intake. The fact this is cheap....little odds. The 3k one wont magically work miracles at lower rpms
So if it looks good to you, if it fits and you're happy that it will perform in the rpm's you want to use, then just buy it.
If you need more oomph in the higher rpm's, 6500, 7000, 7500 etc then the likes of this should have benefits vs any stock type intake. Anyone wanting that will probably not be concerned about what it loses at 3000, 4000 etc
They're all big V8's anyway so it's not as if any will be ***** at those lower rpm's.
Most people would probably go through more pistons etc than they would intakes through metal fatigue

You could do that on a stock intake quite easily lol....so hard to imagine why that would be proof it works ? Although of course it will work to run the engine.
I suspect the turbos and other mods had a little more to do with it.
Rofl his fastest speed with the fast was 196mph. Not saying this intake saw mad gains but the car hit 200mph with "bugs". I was simply just pointing the car clearly didn't suffer drastic loss while using this manifold.
A back to back dyno of the FAST vs Holley would have been nice to see.
In fact, same could be said for any of the intakes, I still find it so strange dyno tests are so hard to come by, especially from their manufacturers who you'd think would love for customers to see them.....
He has had no issues.
I don't have any data from the LS version except for one customer of mine who just put the "race" version on.
Nor perhaps even say 4000-7000rpm range.
It just means...well not a lot really as there are probably loads of intakes that will allow the power.
But I certainly dont see what some of the mega $$$ sheet metal intakes would be offering over the Chinese Holley intake in terms of performance per $$$
At $500 or so, these are damn good value no matter what way you look at it, and with their low height. Most wont give a **** low-mid range changes simply because it will fit their car/hood easier than the taller intakes, even the cheaper Proflo
Win win really.
Now they just need to make a more crossover design with slightly longer runners but still the low profile
Whilst more money, for those wanting a cooler above the intake, they do this ? Would maybe help some as it has a much lower profile than a cast HiRam

or what might be a slightly longer runner that could be cut up or adapted ?

I personally wouldn't put one on a street car with a wide power band.
5000-7000+? No problem.
The main advantage a fabricated sheetmetal or a billet intake would have over this intake is cross section.
