turbo 5.3 heads queation Hey guys. I'm at a cross road. I have a set of prc 225 as-cast 62cc heads. Intake setup is super vic. Would it be OK to run thesee heads on the 5.3 or run some stock heads. I know they are a little big for that bore. What yall think? Turbo is t4 s475, 87 turbine, 1.10 AR. Thanks

According to PRC specs they have a 2.06 intake valve. I am not sure that will clear on 5.3L bore.
You're probally best to stick with a stock casting.

That's what I was worried about. Texas speed said there would be some showing. They said they will work. But not optimal. Just seeing what yall think. I hate to not use some decent heads that I already have

They used the 2" intake valve on the 3.78" bore for a HUGE amount of production engines. I would say its fine.
On a Flow bench, They start to shroud around 2 inch on the 4.8/5.3L bore.
On a wheel dyno it showed like a 5hp loss with the larger valve below 2000-2500 put above that the larger intake valve gained it back.
But being forced induction I don't think you will have anything to worry about.
