Theres gotta be a better way(??)6.0 Procharger woes..
Ok so I have a forged LQ9 that I am building. Come to find out the 6.0 block doesn't have the accessory holes for the alternator bracket from the LS1 that I have. this bracket also supports the Procharger and bracket as well. on the LQ9 there only the bottom hole and seen video of guys tapping one more hole on the right side of the block. But there is no way to drill and tap a hole just to the right of the timing cover. I have heard guys are using only the 2 bolt holes to support the alternator, aster bracket AND procharger. Sounds like not nearly enough support to me. I talked to Bob at Brute and he said guys just run with those 2 bolts holes. Anyone got another way?? any advise?? thanks guys!

I guess i was hoping someone somewhere has developed something else by now. do you know if anyone has made a Alternator relocation bracket? if i am only going to have only 2 holes to bolt on that side i would rather dedicate it to the D1 and Aster bracket and put the alternator elsewhere if possible...

I concur. OP, you act like you have a vastly different setup than anyone else who's ran a Procharger setup on a stock factory LQ9 block. Also, if Bob said you can run it with the two bolts, I'd take him at his word. He knows a thing or two about Procharged builds.

I've seen people merely bolt the Brody alt bracket. And drill throughout that to locate it.

I just recently drilled and tapped a iron 5.3 block while it was in the car. I installed the alternator bracket and used that to start my hole and make sure I was straight and then pulled it off to drill it deep enough. Step 9 drill bit and m10 threads I believe. Thought about just using the 2 bolts but it was fairly easy to do.
