Default V2 Race Cover S480 ETT-HO Billet Part Number?

Hey guys, Im looking to grab a billet S480 this week through my friend who is a dealer and he just needs me to find the part number since he is not familiar with this housing combo. I have tried calling borg warner several times and have not gotten ahold of anyone and Im not comfortable calling a vendor for assistance when I am not going to get it through them.

I am looking for the new V2 Race cover ETO-HR/Billet S480 w/87mm Turbine wheel part number.

I know the V1 Race Cover Billet S480 w/87mm Turbine Wheel part number is 179180

Also I will be ordering it with the S480/87mm Turbine T4 1.10 AR Housing Part Number 178789.

P.S. I see different terminology regarding the billet S480. I there a difference between the Billet S480 vs ETO-HR S480? Just want to make sure I am ordering the correct turbo. The one I am after is pictured here in the link. http://www.motionraceworks.com/store...bocharger.html

Are you referring to the modified Borg Warner units from Forced Inductions? If that is the case you are going to need to use a vendor set up with Forced Inductions or give them a call directly. A couple vendors I know who deal directly with them are Lil Johns Motorsports Solutions, and Huron Speed. Either can get you taken care of.

If you click the bottom link in my OP that's the exact setup I'm looking for. LJMS refers to it as the v2 race coverso I assumed it was a Borg Warner option not aftermarket. It's got the v-band compressor outlet and the casted section for the shaft speed sensor. I want the race cover but don't want a slip connector only v-band

You may be able to purchase the race cover separate from someone, but the turbo you are looking at specifically is a BW unit built by the company Forced Inductions.

If he is ordering ETR-HO wheels that is directly thru forced inductions. Not sure why he would need part numbers... just call Jose.

Ok so to target my OP question the ETR-HO wheel is different than the standard Billet wheel. So I can only get the ETR-HO wheel and V2 Race Cover from the vendor above.

How do you guys think the Regular billet S480 with standard V1 Race Cover compares to the ETR-HO/V2 unit? I can get the Billet S480 with race cover (3" slip fit discharge) for about $600 off what they normally sell for. That's why im only looking to purchase something directly through borg warner.

The Borg FMW wheels Do not make as much power as the wheels from Jose at Forced Inductions.

That turbo should make over 1,000 RWHP on the Huron Speed V2 T4 kit.....with my 390ci...4L80E.......right?

Hope so.....its the biggest turbo that will fit the kit.

Ha Jenny Jenny! Ok so this brings me to my question then. Since the ETR-HO is only available through those few vendors is it worth me spending $600-700 over what I can get the S480 FMW Billet w/Race Cover for? Also too when I'm on a stock block 5.3 (cam/rings/studs) I'm thinking the standard v1 race cover fmw s480 will be fine for my goals and save me some cash too. Then I can use the extra cash n almost get me a Holley digital dash
