cubes...i think u have to stroke an alum block to get above 370...iron block is 4.030 and uses stock crank
this is an arguementive statement...BUT...the iron block is stronger than the alum block

Agostino Racing
built it in 2 days
Aluminum ls6 block 346ci.
lunati billet rods
ross 8.75 pistons
stock crank
call for price; i don't know
daily driven & 765rwhp, i'd say built well
uses a touch of oil because of the wristpin location
the iron/aluminum thing is interesting.. i must not read enough on here but where are the 800+rw iron block guys with it being stronger and all? can i get some analysis figures to back it as well? honestly just curious... who has broken an aluminum block because they made too much hp for it to hold?
things like this make it nice to have a dyno list... so we can see who has what and what did it do.

what compression did u get with the 370?
i just go off the phone with them and 9.1 is the lowest they offer with 70cc heads.
if you know the numbers of your pistons could u post that too.

yes mine are -15cc dish........ you can go with a bigger dish but it will cost you more money..... you will have to buy custom pistons..... the -15cc 4.030 piston is a shelf item...... i went with an Iron block because my stock block was cracked and a new aluminum block and iron block were about the same price.... so why not go with a little more cubes. Down the road later i wanted to have a choice if i ever did hurt anything so i could go .040 over if ever needed.

There was a post about a guy making a billet windage tray that strengthens the aluminum blocks supposed to be good to over 1000 hp. I know that it has been done without it but just tring to help you get the strength that you are looking for with the weight reduction of the aluminum block ETC... I said windage tray above but it was mor than that it is just what it looked like to me cam with new APR studs ETC... I think it was like @ $300 for it. By the way who sold you your T-Trim kit? You never responded in the PM I sent you I was looking for the brackets.

Yea, the # I came up with was for .0001 deck height because I wasn't quite sure . . . I'm waiting to hear what Chris tells Kyle . . . as long as I'm not above 9:1 I'll be happy . . .

Use .001 on the calculator.... the deck is at zero.......... Thanks Chris for the long talk.... again.... sorry if i bother you. Im a little under 9:1 but i wanted a lower comp motor. Im using 6.0L MLS headgaskets so my crushed thickness is .054
I cam up with 8.76:1 for mine with my 6.0L heads and 15cc dish pistons.
