V Bands

V Bands
I am in the process of sourcing all my hot side parts:
I am using stock manifolds, was thinking about the three bolt flange, but am leaning towards v bands due to ease and good looks. I am going to run a 2.25 O/D hot side with a t6 flange. I have been doing research on here on what mild steel v bands sizes to get, but haven't had much success? So as long as I get a 2.25 O/D v band assembly, what 2.25 O/D pipe do I need? I saw that the gauge is different on some steel? Where are you guys getting you V bands from and bellows too?

I have used a few different mild steel v bands off ebay on stock manifolds. They are typcially $15-$20 and weld nicely to the manifolds. On a truck manifold, after chopping the 3 bolt flange off, the 2.25" v-bands fit very well.
Here is one I did last week. Just chop the flange off put a nice bevel on the end.

I used some from Columbia River or something like that, and they sucked didn't have the male female end and were very difficult to line up. The others I have bought were from RPS along with the flex. They have a good selection for fab stuff and if you use 001 or something you'll get 10% off.
