Exactly.

Some of the rules are just nonsense in this day and age. Not to mention some of the pictures of cages I've seen which are lethal. The rules on their design must be very very loose.

going to be very soon here that stock cars will be in the 9s and low 10s and will be "illegal" to take to the track straight from the factory. so dumb. at least at the 1/2 mile events if you spin out too there is nothing to hit typically, so no wall right next to you to crash into

Leave it up to the man that's driving. He knows, and assumes the risk.....no different than other vices that are risky but legal.
