Blow through setup. Obviously I need some help.
Hey guys over winter I built a stock 5.3 put a on3 034;9;'ancd 76mm turbo on it and a msd 6014 box on it. The best time I have got was a 12.99 and was running out of fuel. So I got a 45lbs fuel pump my regulator is aremotive boost referenced fuel regulator. i have tryed tr-6 ngk along with Br7ef plugs. I also have a 850 double pumper I modified by the hangar 18 instructions. I now am running 86 jets in front and 98 in the rear. My boost gauge sees 8lbs boost. The autometer wideband reads idling 10.5-11 and whenever I do my burnout at the track gen for some reason it seems to be having a problem getting stuck at 14.6. Now at home and doing launches on the road and what not the wideband seems to work great. I gotta call autometer and see why it seems to do that. Also my timing right now he base timing I have set at 28degrees across the board (after 1200rpm and then my mapsensor pulls timing out as boost comes in. So with everything I mentioned where would you guys start trying to figure out? Today I did a run and checked plug reading it looked lean. I have the primary's 2 jet sizes bigger and did another run the car slowed down. Tomorrow I'll pull a plug and look at the reading .

Sounds all jacked up! It should be easy to fix though at least. Is it gasoline or e85? If gasoline those jets seem huge! I have a 750HP on a 454 bbc with two s300s running 7psi boost and my jets are 75/88 with no PV in back.
For your idle being so rich you probably need quite a bit bigger IABs.
What fuel pump is it exactly? 45lbs or 45gallons? 45 lbs per hour wouldn't feed a stock Civic!
It sounds like your floats might be set too low. Do you have jet extensions in the back?

I was recently thinking about sending my carb to csu. As for the fuel pump it's 255lph and 45psi max. Also I am running vp110 fuel. Also taking a plug reading it still has a very light tan color to the plugs.

Is the reg. designed to handle that much pressure, then reduce it to like 7 lbs? Some FI regs don't work well with carbs.
You prob don't need 110 in the car at 8 lbs., but 100 prob wouldn't be to far off, unless your planning more boost.
I have had Kevin (CSU) do several carbs, always spot on-does your carb have rem. air bleeds? Some of those wide bands wont read correct if to rich,
can give false readings.
You prob need to drop the hi speed A/B's down to .022-.023 to richen the top end, reduce the jet sizes, and a boost ref PV to ensure its open.

The fuel regulator does 3-20psi with one spring and 20-60 with another the regulator is boost referenced. I know I can have it set at 7psi hit air to the top to simulate boost and it'll go up and peg my. 15 lbs gauge.
